Heidi, our oldest Daughter and her husband Don, have four little treasures. Zachary is the oldest, Jace, Heather and Samantha (Sammi). They moved back from Indiana about two and a half years ago as Don found work with IHM (emergency). They have felt very blessed to be back (home). Since moving back to Utah, we have volunteered to babysit their kids every Friday (except the last, when we have Kimi's kids for the weekend). We love seeing them each Friday, we all look forward to Friday's. Especially Heidi (and Don when he gets a night off work), we hoped Heidi and Don could go on some dates, read a book, or just spend some quiet time for themselves. Although I think sometimes Heidi misses the point. She'll drop off the kids, and when we ask her what she gets to do that night, sometimes she'll say; "I'm going home to CLEAN"! We'll have to help her understand the Mommy time concept a little better. Sometimes the kids spend the night, and we all have a ball. Precious, precious moments for us, not to be missed. We are so thankful to Heidi and Don for allowing us one-on-one time with their treasures; to love, and help teach them Gospel principals is a joy beyond measure for us.
But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not; for of such is the kingdom of God. Luke 18:16
Welcome
Welcome to the blog spot of Jack and Annette Sommer. We are so pleased you can join with us to share our precious moments, our life's joys, and our dreams come true. Take a trip with us, enjoy the views. We hope you will feel of the love we share, and find joy with us....on our journey of life together!
Jack and I are simple minded people with one simple motto....Live happy, laugh as often as you want, love endlessly, and then open your heart to love some more.
Jack and I fell in love the moment we met! We began (what we call) our Eternal love together March 17, 2001. We are happier and more in love today than we ever imagined. We enjoy most everything we do together (except flying). Jack's life long dream has always been to fly. After many years of dreaming Jack purchased his first Buckeye, powered parachute in 2008. Jack has spent many happy days flying his machine. What a blessing it is for me to share his love of flying (on the ground of coarse). We adore each other and every moment together we cherish. We love our 8 grandchildren more than anything! We love babysitting them and feeling of their precious spirits. Jack and I both agree, there's not a more endearing sound than to hear our grandbabies tell us they love us! What eternal treasures our four children and grandchildren are to us. How blessed we are, how thankful we are!
